MENTORING

WHAT IS MENTORING?

It is voluntary support provided by a more experienced or specially trained person (a mentor) to a less experienced person (a mentee). The mentor can share his own experience and solutions to particular situations. The mentor can also encourage the mentee to seek their own solution, give them feedback, and direct them through their personal development. The mentor couple is always equivalent in relation to the mentee couple. The foundation of the relationship between the couples is honesty, openness, and trust. Mentoring is mainly a PREVENTION. A solution to a little problem can avert a serious problem. It is impossible to avoid conflict in marriage. However, it is important to have an effective communication, express respect and love to each other, be able to solve conflicts, and satisfy each other's needs. The aim of mentors is to help other couples in learning such abilities.
